ELO

(Often abbreviated ELO)
A Birmingham-based English Rock music group formed by the final line-up of The Move (Roy Wood, Bev Bevan and Jeff Lynne) during 1970, who went on to release twelve studio albums and more than four dozen singles in total under the leadership of Lynne. The band was initially formed to accommodate Wood and Lynne's desire to expand artistically by creating modern Rock and Pop music infused with strong Classical overtones.
Queen

British Band Formed, London 1971

Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano) - Brian May (guitar, vocals)  - John Deacon (bass guitar)  - Roger Taylor (drums, vocals)

Earliest works were heavily influenced by progressive rock; in the mid-1970s, the band ventured into more conventional and radio-friendly works, bringing them greater success. It also became something of a trademark to incorporate more diverse and innovative styles in their music, exploring the likes of vaudeville, gospel music, electronic music and funk.
